MURI
Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative
Accurate Theoretical Predictions of the Properites of Energetic Materials
Mission
Develop and validate molecular theory-based models of energetic materials and propellants enabling the prediction structure/function
relations to optimize performance, reduce sensitivity and to design extraction and reuse methods for economy, low environmental-impact, and to extend their life cycle. Document models to enable their use by energetic materials scientists.
